Hi! I'm Pepijn Berghout, the brain and the brawn behind BreinGraphics. I am an illustrator and infographic designer in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. I create infographics, illustrations and pictograms that present complex information in a clear and appealing manner.

After being active as an architect for a number of years, I made the switch to a career as an independent illustrator more than ten years ago. Combining technical and spatial insight with a preference for illustration turned out to be a great combination for my current focus: infographics.

I have been able to create a variety of illustrations, infographics and icon designs for very diverse clients (including architects, engineers, makers, entrepreneurs, researchers, educational publishers and institutions), but all with one central theme; a complex story made understandable with the help of compelling images.
