About
Hi, I'm Pepijn Berghout, Information Designer & Illustrator in Rotterdam, The Netherlands and the brain and brawn behind BreinGraphics. As an experienced information designer and illustrator, I specialize in bold, colorful infographics, custom illustrations, and icon design that transform complex information into clear, engaging visual storytelling. I also create illustrated maps, mazes, and cutaway drawings.
Before founding BreinGraphics, I worked as an architect, where I developed strong technical and spatial insight. Over 10 years ago, I switched to a full-time career as an independent illustrator and infographic designer, combining my design background with a passion for information design and graphic visualization.
I've had the pleasure of collaborating with a wide range of clients, including architects, engineers, entrepreneurs, researchers, makers, and educational publishers. Despite the diversity, one thing connects all my projects: making complex stories understandable and accessible through compelling, high-quality visuals.
